oh, i've got millions. but these are just my favorites.

guilty pleasure #629
the hilarious facial expressions people make when they sing.
ahem, kofoeds. it makes me giggle & almost feel embarrassed.

guilty pleasure #630
sometimes i listen to ke$ha.
yes, its a sin unto itself.
don't be hatin'.

guilty pleasure #631
when landon says "day-yumm" to me.
then tells me he's going to buy me a new nike tshirt.

guilty pleasure #632
leaving your phone unattended for a few hours,
then coming back to realize you have 7 text messages from assorted peers.
then, only answering the ones you feel like.

guilty pleasure #633
putting beads in my hair.
i look like a hot jedi.
maybe a hot aboriginal?
its fine; i look hot either way.

guilty pleasure #634
large diet cokes from mcdonalds for a grand total of $1.06,
plus tax.
sometimes i just really love 32 oz. of caffeinated&carbonated goodness.

guilty pleasure #635
facebook notifications. especially ones that say
"so-and-so & 32 other friends like your status."
its happened before.
& don't lie, you know you love them too.

your guilty pleasures?

liquid confidence.

via pinterest.com, obviously.

i been thinkin' about this.

i'm the type who thinks makeup should enhance your natural beauty,
not cover it up.
believe me,
i'm not the prettiest or skinniest or most outgoing,
but i've got this thing called self confidence.
and i don't feel like i need to use my face or body to get attention.

on another note.
last night.
midnight premiere of sherlock holmes two.
with kaitlyn, christina, landon, garrett, cardston and corey.
my friends are so strange sometimes.

"those bathrooms are freaking huge."
"that buttery flavor? its actually not butter."
"can i palpate your knee area?"

anyways. there'll be pictures to come.
but for now.
a song.
appropriately titled: liquid confidence (nothing to lose) by you me at six.

cheers to the freakin' weekend.
loves,
jess. :)

bababasketball.

i freaking love it.

it.hasn't.hit.me.yet.

‎senior year is unlike any other.
here are a few things you should know..
it won't hit you when you wake up for your last first day of school.
it won't hit you as you walk into the senior locker bay for the first time as an official senior.
it won't hit you when you cheer at your last homecoming pep rally and attend your last football game.
it won't hit you as you go to your last homecoming dance and realize prom is way better without the lower classmen and the dj.
it won't hit you as you enter the floor to perform at state for the last time.
it won't hit you as you fill out the countless college applications.
it won't hit you as you write that generic essay letter that you try to use for all your apps.
it won't hit you as your college friends return for Christmas break and give you all their advice.
it won't hit you as you celebrate new year's with the friends you have known since childhood.
it won't hit you when you cheer at your last senior night and cry your eyes out.
you won't feel it when you are having the time of your life at your last spring break.
you don't realize it during senior skip day.
when may finally comes around and you realize that it is your last prom, but you don't really feel it when you are there having the time of your life.
you begin to realize it at graduation when you look around and realize that you will never see half of these people again.
you will begin to see it more over the summer when everyone is getting their roommates, class schedules, and going to orientation.
it still hasn't fully hit you when you are sitting in your room packing up the past 18 years of your life, laughing with your best friend about all the stupid stuff you've done.
you might feel it the morning you leave for college as that it is the last time you will see your room, your parents, and your best friend for like 3 months.
it will finally hit you when you are sitting in your dorm room with a perfect stranger, that you have to live with for the next year.
please, please, PLEASE make every moment of your senior year count, you only get to do it once.
college will be a lot of fun, but in the meantime, jump at every opportunity you get to do anything that you have ever wanted to do.
spend as much time with friends as possible, for it will not be long until you meet new people and inevitably grow apart.

so here's to the seniors of 2012.
only five months left.

ha. and you thought it was wednesday.

i definitely got out of bed this morning and thought it was wednesday.
false. tis tuesday.
and i find that disappointing.

there's something wrong here.
well, two things.
really really wrong.
one: the week is not even two days gone and i'm ready to lounge around all day in my jammies.
two: i'm sitting at the computer to do my homework and its not even 4:00. whaaat?

and this would be me skipping second period.

hey don't worry.
i'm just really really pretty sometimes.
haha.
i love only going to two periods of school.
and then hearing our song on the radio.
three times.
then putting my ipod on shuffle,
and having it come on again.

i think i'll make some paper chains.
one counting down until graduation,
the other till christmas.
and another one until the first day of college.
maybe another one until my eighteenth birthday?
that sounds nice.

have a lovely tuesday.
loves,
jessica.

to feel good, follow instructions.

we all have those days.
they tend to happen to me on saturdays,
long weekends,
extended breaks,
etc.
those days when you roll out of bed and feel kinda like a vegetable.
you know what i'm talking about.
the "i'm going to put my hair in a bun and wear jammie pants all day" feeling.
that was me today.
but i've found that these days are the best days to have a little self love.
do these things. it'll make you feel really good.

one. put your shoes on and go for a run. do it do it do it. you're only one workout away from a good mood.
two. as soon as you get back from your run, get in the shower. wash your whole body with good smelling things. exfoliate, too.
three. put on your favorite undies and clean yoga pants+ a cute shirt.
four. moisturize your face & hands and let your herr air dry. put a pore strip on your nose and whitening strips on your teeth. (these ones are my favorite.)
five. change up what's going on with your nails. paint them if they're bare & take the polish off if its chipped.
six. listen to some good music. some of my favorites on days like this:
coming back down: hollywood undead
i like it like that: hot chelle rae
sparks fly: tswift
good feeling: flo rida
oh darling: plug in stereo
kiss me slowly: parachute
seven. drink some lemonade. or hot chocolate. or anything that really strikes your fancy.
eight. spontaneous dance party with your best friend.
nine. watch reruns of your favorite tv show. at my house its ncis and the mentalist. :)
ten. make something really good for dinner. something that takes time and leaves you completely happppy. (mac and cheese doesn't count. although i wish it did.)

then do it again next weekend.

loves,
jessica :)

cause we're sisters.

i believe.

i believe in manicures.
i believe in overdressing.
i believe in primping at leisure
and wearing lipstick.
i believe in pink.
i believe that laughing is the best calorie burner.
i believe in kissing.
kissing a lot.
i believe in being strong
when everything else seems to be going wrong.
i believe happy girls are the prettiest girls.
i believe tomorrow is another day.
i believe in miracles.

makes me wanna take a backroad.

the first two weeks of school have been blissfully great.
my schedule is perfect. late start, seminary, and photography.
ap calc, ap english, ap government, ap econ, hon chem.
no big deal.
the field by the school is stacking their wheat.
its beautiful, so i had to stop and take a picture.
we won our football game friday [!!!!]
and bsu won theirs saturday. [!!!!]
the weather is still in the upper 80's low 90's,
but the mornings have a yummy crispness that only comes in fall.
my birthday is next week.
according to parker, its the sexy seventeenth that counts.
haha.
new favorite song.
remind me by brad paisley and carrie underwood.
or,
long hot summer by keith urban.
i can't choose.
or maybe lighters by bruno mars...
whoever invented favorites of everything is dumb.

loves,
jessica :)

one down.

oh, eagle high school.
you've been good to me.
it was nice to walk down those halls today.
it was weird, it almost felt like home.
ryan started today as well.
i like my classes.
landon, clara, tanner, & ashley are great.
ms. taylor? hmmm.. we'll see.
i hope this year is just as good.
football is great.
even when it depletes my 2 best friends extra time.
one to the game, one to sports med.
no matter.
i gain bragging rights and free
entertainment on friday evenings.
this should be great.
loves,
jess.

some things.

so, we looked up tanner's mustang brand on the blm website, and turns out this kid is 18 years old! horses generally live to between 23-28, so he's an oldie. this does explain many of his strange habits though.

last night, i went with chas to the caldwell night rodeo. it was full of adventure. and by adventure i mean the kid behind us cracking his head open on the grandstands, an unconscious bull rider, and a barrel racer that fell off her horse. we got front row seats.

imma senior. :)

the boys are back for the last time.

(oh hey. remember tanner? he's number two of the elite 11, and a nike posterboy, and he plays for my school. jealous? thought so.)

i drive up to the stadium to coach pete's voice screaming at the boys.
there ain't no walkin' on a football field! no sir!
one more time, sullivan!
git up there! still can't see your hands, fool!
after three grueling hours of literal blood, sweat and many, many tears, they still lift their feet high enough to step over the tires.
they still run fast enough to sprint a 4.6 40 meter.
there is a reason we're the best.
after 2 months of hardcore conditioning,
its football season.

experimentation time.

this will soon be my hair. hopefully. i've got to figure it out first.

saw it here.

she's coming to boise!
senior pictures are here.
maybe i'll get them done by this talented photographer.
