i'm less stressed than i was two weeks ago.

ha. but i did find the joy of online classes!
you know that D in calc that's screwing over my gpa?
well i'm going to take an online class this summer that will replace, that's right, replace, my D on my transcripts with hopefully an A.
i'm feeling preetty daarrn gooood. :)

felicity.
felicity.
fe·lic·i·ty
[fi-lis-i-tee]
–noun1.
the state of being happy, especially in a high degree; bliss.
i'm in the mood to make a felicity list.
i love this word, it embodies everything that makes me happy.
- summer weather.
- cute dresses. especially this one.
- spring cardigans.
- green grass.
- reading outside in seminary.
- d&c section 6.
- when butterscotch is a good girl.
- clean stalls.
- clean rooms.
- clean bathrooms.
- "i do" by colbie callait.
- colorful sunsets.
- good books.
- when grandma stays for a few days. [that totally rhymed]
- natali's 10th birthday is tomorrow.
- the world is still here.
- beginning to get my summer tan on.
- scheduling senior pictures.
- senior pictures of my graduating friends.
- the freshness of the air at 7:00 in the morning.
- it's almost june?
- seminary graduation last night makes me glad i don't skip.
- next year, school starts at 8:00. yeeesssss.
- cousins are visiting soon.
- strawberry cream pie.
- midnight pomegranate.
- chocolate eggs left over from easter.
- a brand new pack of markers.
- a car full of gas.
- 2-for-5 flip flops at old navy.
- tacos and other such warm weather food.
- vice president in history club and potentially bpa next year.
- cabins in the mountains.
- a good long sleep.
whooo that got to be a long list. needless to say, despite my D in calculus i'm in a good mood. its really, really sad that i'm planning on taking summer school to retake this class. but really what's a couple weeks of summer for an A? bleeeech. whatevs. i always was proud that i was a smart kid. i wonder if this is a lesson in humility? i really hope not, it's a little humiliating.
anyways, i'm really glad that video touched you guys like it did me. i really feel like this is the best video they've ever made. it is so personal to every high school student and come on, we can all do what that kid did. he was able to bring someone unto christ purely because of his example on the sports teams that he was on. it's not hard. sometimes i clam up and forget everything i've learned in the past 17 years of church, but know what? i put that barrier on myself. there are people that i know need to hear what i know, and i know that you know people that need to know, even if you live in mormon central, utah, usa. enough with my spitting out everything that is popping into my head. [p.s. i like someone in a major sort of way. maybe more later?]
have a great day. as kaitlyn says, remember who you are and make good choices. and as my momma says, be helpful, respectful, kind and calm.
peace out.
j-dubb. :)
oh and one more thing.
go make your own felicity list.
it'll make you feel great.
promise.
kudos to you if you read all the way down here.
i'm in the mood for a lotion that smells like coconut tanning spray or some other yummy concoction. what are your favorites?

right now.

is april, the sun is shining, i got new chapstick, and i just got back from a
two-and-a-stinkin'-half-hour study session.
on a side note.
boy am i sure glad i know where i'm going in life.
today i was subjected to a girl in my math class' rave about how great
her ncmo was yesterday. (noncommittal makeout)
(um yes... my life does center around math. thanks for asking.)
eew.
besides the fact that you're a great lds girl (at least i thought you were until today)
i don't want to know about how well this kid exchanged spit with you for an hour. this kid wasn't even attractive. at all. at all. at all.
and so, girl-who-likes-to-make-out-with-ugly-boys,
please keep your stories to yourself.
thanks.
on a happier note...
tomorrow for mutual the eagle laurels are having a date with the kuna boys.
now, they are attractive.
i also have a dentist and hair appointment... not at the same time
or with the same person of course.
i'm thinking of going really blond.

the pythagorean theorem is overrated.
so, it seems to me that all i ever talk about is math.
but, its whats up.
and so, because my life is so cool,
i talk about math.
about my math class.
its huge. like 36 kids huge. its crazy because last semester my class was only 17 kids but due to scheduling difficulties, everyone got put in period 4B.
loud obnoxious boys dominate the class, because lets face it.
as far as sophomore boys are concerned,
women should never have gotten rights.
mmhm. they went there.
me, summer, lauren, and ari all sit by each other. those girls are a godsend.
what we would do in that class without each other is beyond me.
my teacher's name is fogdall.
he uses his hands alot, has a big nose, his first name is todd, he got bullied in middle school, and he likes to say "okay people lets focus!"
he's pretty cool.
actually, he's the best math teacher i've ever had.
and yet my grade suffers.
what'er. 41/2 more weeks of school
i hope i survive.
:)

oh hey, guess what?
so, i guess it's really not normal to have a D in calculus.
like, really not normal.
apparently, i have an abnormally difficult time
figuring out why the derivative of an ellipse's
a value is important.
holla to mst.
i've missed you.
not.

i'm a lurcher and i like it.
i have a new favorite pastime during school.
it's called lurching.
it only works with a flip phone.
it is slightly hysterical and highly creepy.
- get into camera mode.
- set the phone up at slightly less than a 90 degree angle as to not be identified by a teacher.
- take the picture. later laugh at teacher with friends int he hallway.
i lurched this picture of my unsuspecting pre-calc teacher.
my life is awesome.
have a great friday. :)
